About
the Veterans Tribute Project

The Iowa County Veterans Tribute Project is a community-led fundraising effort to create a permanent, dignified veterans tribute in the heart of Williamsburg.

The project aims to replace the existing memorial in the Williamsburg City Square with a new Veterans Tribute honoring all who served — past, present, and future. Built at the current site on the northeast side of the City Square, the tribute will preserve the memorial’s historic location while creating a lasting symbol of service, sacrifice, and gratitude.

With community support, this tribute will stand as a place of honor, reflection, and remembrance for generations to come.
